Should I sleep tonight, its 5am, gotta be at work in 3 hours?

THey say some is better than none...but geez, I'll only get 2 1/2 hours sleep tops...is it worth it?
Answer:
if i find my self in this situation i just stay up and then sleep after work. You will be more tired sleeping for that time and then working. Just stick it out with a large energy drink and mabe some 'Energy Now' pills. Then crash long and hard when 8 to 10 is permitted...
Not really, just stay awake and answer questions. Seasame street is on!
I honestly wouldn't bother. You are going to feel wired if you don't sleep. But you'd feel wrecked if you did.
Nah..when u wake up, you will be exhausted and really lazy. Drink some coffee!
hell yea go to sleep maybe you wont wake up and lose ur job
The question should be...should i call in sick. Yes you should. Don't go to work with so little sleep or no sleep. Productivity will be low and you take the chance of being killed driving to work or even fired.
i'm sitting here with the same problem...ive decided to stay up...2 hours wont make or break you...actually its a proven fact that if some people try to go to sleep for 2 hours or shorter, they feel worse than just going about their day...my boyfriend works the midnight shift and he has a hard time getting to sleep during the day so if he doesnt get to sleep by at least 8pm i make him stay up. he always ends up making up for lost sleep the next day
stay awake. but rest your eyes occasionally if need be. it'll be hard to keep your eyes awake the rest of the 'night' and during your work day.
I think some sleep is always better than none."Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleeve (sleave) of care."
Shakespeare. You need to knit up the unravelled sleeve which is th mind after a day. The chances are it'll still be slightly loose when you get to work, but loose is better than totally undone.Make sure you set a loud alarm!
Call in unless your asleep now because work sucks when your exhausted for real.
I think you would just be more tired if you slept now. Might as well just stay up. I think I remember from a class I took once that you are more rested when you can sleep through a complete REM cycle (usually about 3 hours? Now I wish I had taken better notes!!). Just make yourself some coffee and a good hearty breakfast and, even if you are really wiped out after work, try to stay up until as close to your normal bedtime as possible so your sleep schedule doesn't get all out of whack.
take a long shower, have a coffee.you may find with walking to work you will feel more refreshed.when you get home, try stay up until at least early evening,so you can get back into a good routine
