Should i trust my doc ? tired of this.?

hi all
well im tired of all this thing that bothering me for long time..i just came back from doc visit (family doc and another 90$ of my copay huh!) and i didnt hear anything new.
alergie,sinus infection... thats what i hear all the time...
Im having duul headache in the lower part of my head (in back between neck and brain) for 10 days now and he is saying that cause is sinus congestion.
Maybe(hopefully) this is true but i dont have any headache in the front or around the sinuses...
Is it normal to have slight headache (that come and go) for 10 days in the back of head because of sinuses?
Shoul i consult neurologist ar diferent doc%26gt;
Im curently taking sudafed and nasal drops so i will se how it goes.
Answer:
if you have a sinus infection, you need antibiotics like amoxicillan. It's an infection.
Always good to get a second opinion.
Sinus headaches usually occur in the front of the head around the eyes. What you are describing sounds like a tension head ache, but that is based on the limited information you are giving.You might want to get a second opinion from another practitioner. It's your right to do so any time you don't agree with your primary care provider.
absolutely especially at this time of the year. AND I have noticed just this year and I have turned 43 ouch. But for the first time in my life I am fighting sinus headaches too.They come and go and until we get past this spring pollen season we are going to have to bear with it. try something oner the counter first before you go back next time that doesnt cause drouseness. Hope you feel better
go see an iridoligist alternative health care they can help you.
