Should I go to a chiropractor?

My middle back has been killing me for two weeks now. It feels like someone has their elbow in between my shoulder blades. It's not getting any better. Should I see a chiropractor? I'm a little nervous about them making my back worse. I just don't know what to do!!
Answer:
Go see a chiropractor. He will give you the most bang for your buck sort to speak. He has the ability to treat both the joints and the soft tissue parts of the injury at the same time unlike a massage therapist and a PT who can only treat the muscles. As far as making you worse, they are trained in helping not hurting. Besides it's been "killing" you for 2 weeks straight what could be worse.
yeah sometimes it does make it worse. go 2 a massage therapist plus u will feel better. If i was you i would start working out, that helps aches and pains, and walking does 2.
Find a good chiropractor. It will help. Also try ice for 20 minutes followed by heat for 20 minutes. This will help as well. Take Advil for pain and keep up the walking. Exercise is good for pain. Crazy, but true.
Start off by visiting your regular doctor. Back pain can be brought on by many things and you need to make sure that it's not something serious. As a person with back problems, I can tell you that this is not always an easy thing to diagnose. Good luck.
don't go to a regular chiropractor. go to a kenesiologist. they are chiropractors who do whole body movement. they will have you feeling better in no time.
I believe you should go to a chiropractor as they are specialists in back problems. I personally have gotten more relief through chiropractic been any other modality. I've enclosed a link where you can find a chiropractor that does kinesiology in your area. This covers the entire world.
Definite no. Do so at your own risk!
